The Department of EEE was established in 2008 with a clear vision to contribute its bit in the national effort of providing quality Electrical Engineers in the service of mankind. Starting from the modest beginning the department has grown from strength to strength to become a versatile entity. This has become possible because of the perseverance, sincerity and dedication exhibited by our staff and students.

                 The Department starts with an intake of 60 students. Subsequently , the intake was increased to 90 in 2009-2010 and 120 in the year 2010-2011.The department has well qualified ,experienced teaching faculty and supporting faculty to impart knowledge and skills. In the department there are 24 teaching staffs and 5 supporting staffs. The Department has been playing a pioneering role in producing world class technocrats. The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and to provide adequate opportunities for students and researchers to learn and innovate.

       The Department has been producing good results with distinction and Ranks in University Examinations .We have been organizing many symposiums, guest lectures,workshops,industrial visit to encourage the students to hone their personality in terms of academics and also we are organizing many sports and cultural events to bring out their extraordinary extracurricular skills. Our students have brought home several laurels from national and international conferences.

               The department conducts Project Exhibition every year to motivate and upgrade their skills to make innovations in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Three best projects are awarded by our Management with cash prizes.  In the very first batch(2008-2012) and also in the consecutive batches ,there were University rank holders and 90% of the students got placed in many core companies and MNC's like TCS,CTS,HCL,WIPRO,L&T INFOTECH etc.,
